SVP, Global Head of Strategic Research and Head of ANZ Client ServicesPart 1 - Head of ANZ Client Services Job DescriptionReporting to the Director, Head of International, the incumbent should have expertise in engaging with global and regional financial institutions, consulting firms, and/or large corporations.
In-depth knowledge of the Australian market is essential.
These responsibilities are in addition to the global head of SR duties.What You'll Do:Plan and execute strategies to deliver ambitious growth as part of the regional and global teamOversee the Client Service team in SydneyBuild out the Client Service team, ensuring the identification of the right leader for succession or hiring a new leader as necessaryLead client advocacy and work with the local teamDrive close cooperation between offices, sharing best practices throughout the organisationAct as the point of contact for ANZ business escalationsAssist in hiring Business Development membersPart 2 - SVP, Global Head of Strategic Research Job DescriptionWhat You'll Do:Managing Quality and ProductionManage P&L of global Strategic Research department & LATAM businessOversee the production of professionals serving under his/her and his/her direct Team Lead/VP reports for Strategic Research globallyForecast headcount planning and budget for the departmentDevelop business strategy for salary, cost alternatives, services, and location of operationMeet regularly in individual meetings with Strategic Research Team Leads /VP to review accounts, oversee progress toward monthly, quarterly and annual goals, problem-solve about project and client issues, oversee career development of Strategic Research team membersPrimary point of contact for all escalations revolving Strategic ResearchDiscover new avenues of services supporting global operationsCollaborate with product development team to enhance operation productivityComplianceBe well versed at all times in Guidepoint's compliance policies, the custom compliance protocols of all clients serviced by the overseen teams and compliance CRM functionalitySpot-check compliance adherenceWork with Team Leads/VP to investigate and remediate compliance breachesServe as the point of contact between the Compliance Department and his/her Strategic Research teamProvide support to the Compliance Department with respect to establishing best practices, reinforcing Guidepoint and client compliance policies and procedures and addressing any breaches of such policies and proceduresEnsure that members of the Strategic Research team are held accountable for compliance breaches and address recurring issuesSet the tone from the top that Compliance is a key element of the service that we provide and an essential part of the service team's jobTraining & MentoringWork in collaboration with HR and other VPs in designing and implementing training programs for Project Managers, Research Managers and Associates to teach best research, communications, service and compliance practicesContinually train staff on new research resources and technologyCoach and mentor Team Leads/VP to handle employee escalations and troubles surrounding performanceProvide guidance around decision-making for Team Lead/VPsResearch DevelopmentAct as point-person for firmwide research initiatives, coordinating with managers in international officesHelp to identify and evaluate new research resources and coordinate review and onboarding of such services.Supervise and encourage utilization of research resourcesStaffing, Hiring and SupervisingWork with HR/TA Manager to interview and hire new Associates, Managers, and leadership for the TeamReview promotions of existing research professionals suggested from VP/Team leadsConduct disciplinary procedures as necessary, including Performance Improvement plans and dismissalConduct semi-annual performance reviews of Team Leads/VP and collaborate with them on their semi-annual performance reviews of Project Managers and Research AssociatesRaise with HR promptly any employee issues or complaints and act quickly to address such issues consistent with company policy and/or direct instructions from HRSales and Relationship ManagementWork with VP of Business Development to manage trialsWork with VP of Business Development on account reviewsWork with VP of Business Development on account renewalsOversee execution of account strategies by Strategic Research teamsRaise service issues to the Director of Business Development promptly and collaborate on remedial actionsManage overall clients servicing within group, maintain positive relationships and encourage client reach out initiativesAttend client meetings (both current clients and prospects)Firm Management ResponsibilitiesAct as a representative of the company and leader in managing implementation of company policies, decisions and valuesInform and support Executive management in information gathering and decision-making.What You Have:University degree from a recognised institution12+ years of relevant work experience, ideally within the information service, or other similar sectorsExcellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients with a demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with stakeholdersAbility to thrive within a fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial mindset, and an unwavering desire to succeedDemonstrated ability to work independently and within teamsAbility to work with executives across Asia and globallyExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishWhat We Offer:Central-located officeFlexible work arrangementCompetitive compensation -
