The ideal candidates bring significant consulting experience and client relationships, to provide technical leadership and strategic direction to grow the business in Perth.Since the acquisition of CSA Global (a leading geological and mining consulting company) in 2019, ERM has enjoyed great success supporting global players in the exploration and mining industry. We have been innovating our mining and sustainability service offerings tailored for these clients in recent years and we have built strong, trust-based relationships with them.We have ambitious growth aspirations for our Sustainable Mining Services (SMS) business, and the Partner for Mine Engineering will work closely with clients as well as our local practitioners to ensure that we offer sustainable solutions to our clients in the APAC region and globally.The area you will be supporting our clients in is particularly focused on Mining Engineering at all stages of projects. Role specifics will be defined during the recruitment process, based on candidate's experience.ROLE PROFILE:Play a key role in growing the business with a primary focus on client account development, sales, and project execution to deliver strategic value to our clients across various sectors.Generate sales from new and existing clients to meet personal and/or team sales targets.Actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth with target clients aligned with ERM's global strategy.Lead opportunity chase teams to identify and secure opportunities with clients that fit within ERM's value proposition, including scope of work development and pricing.Provide business value selling at the top levels of client organizations, raising the profile of ERM's capabilities within key client organizations, to identify and shape clients' needs for ERM services.Develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice, excellent value, and quality service.Maintain pulse on industry business cycles and prioritize sales efforts toward high-potential, top opportunities.Contribute to leadership and management of major projects for ERM's clients.Build, grow, and manage a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to employees. Drive innovation within the technical communities to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate ERM in the market.Meet business financial targets, overall project budgets and schedules, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal and contract requirements.AccountabilitiesOre Reserve estimation and report generation as well as sign-off according to the JORC Code, as a Competent Person, or to the Canadian CIM /NI43-101 requirements as a Qualified Person, or to other international CRIRSCO standard public reporting codes as applicable.Develop and implement strategic business plans, provide leadership, and deliver performance results to expand ERM's Sustainable Mining Services and relevant client base.Serve as a Partner leader to drive double-digit profitable growth for the Mine Engineering Team and broader Sustainable Mining Services.Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take an active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients.Ensure the accuracy and quality of all team deliverables.Achieve client's expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.RequirementsThe ideal candidate is a goal getter who strives to achieve commercial and client success and has experience providing consultancy services for Mine Engineering and Sustainable Mining projects.We are looking for someone who enjoys collaboration with colleagues and clients to ensure successful delivery of their projects. We need someone with a knowledge of the software packages utilized in Optimisation Studies and the Ore Reserve Estimation process as well as expertise with international reporting codes such as JORC, NI-43101, SAMREC, etc.A person who wants to support geometallurgical studies and due diligence projects.A Member or Fellow of a professional mining organisation (AusIMM or equivalent), Competent Person status for at least two commodities.Strong existing local (Perth, WA) networks and relationships.A professional with a desire to develop a working understanding of ERM's other services and actively support cross-selling these services to existing clients. Willingness to collaborate with other ERM offices around the world.Ability to provide excellent project delivery and client service, quality on project deliverables, excellent communication and organizational skills.Willing to undertake travel at times throughout Australia, the AP region and Globally when required.TO APPLY:
