Local Government, Government - Local (Government & Defence) The Sustainable Assets Planner is responsible for the strategic asset management, project planning and support of council's Green Buildings Initiative and to provide specialist advice on improving the sustainability of our buildings, facilities, public lighting, EV charging stations and other plant (related infrastructure). The key deliverable is to achieve efficiencies in energy use and reducing carbon intensity of council buildings, facilities and public lighting through supporting the organisation's commitment to reducing our emissions and achieving our net zero target. About You You are an asset planner with a passion for delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions and are a proactive experienced professional within your chosen field. You must have the ability to work autonomously, develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and possess strong project management skills. Key Selection Criteria: Demonstrated experience and technical knowledge in renewable energy systems for buildings and facilities, EV systems, public lighting and other plant (related infrastructure). Experience in the development and presentation of clear and concise project scopes and briefs, developing and delivering policy documents and providing advice in relation to the provision, renewal and replacement of green buildings, facilities, public lighting, EV charging and other plant (related infrastructure). Proven ability in preparing clear and concise reports, discussion papers, project briefs, applications for grant funding and other relevant material. Ability to think innovatively and identify alternative options for the procurement and sustainable use of energy resources. Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and the maintenance of a supportive work environment.
