About the Scout Program Brinc's scout program connects individuals who actively engage with startups, offering opportunities to increase their global network with other scouts and within Brinc's ecosystem. Typical scouts may be venture partners, (former) founders, or recent graduates with relevant expertise looking for opportunities to transition into VC roles. This is a flexible working arrangement where participants source companies aligned to their schedule, with opportunities for increased engagement depending on your background and active support from Brinc's team.
Expectations: Deep understanding of the climate tech and/or agrifood tech industries, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities.Proven ability to identify high-potential founders with innovative ideas that align with Brinc's evolving investment thesis.Actively source and cultivate a robust network of relevant startups and founders within the sustainability space.Champion Brinc externally, acting as an ambassador and promoting the program to relevant startups and founders in the climate tech and agrifood tech space.Contribute to mapping out the landscape of Brinc's startup ecosystem across these key sustainability verticals.Participate in regular check-ins with the Brinc team to discuss the status of potential startups. (Frequency to be determined)Maintain transparency regarding any potential co-investment or follow-on investment interests in startups you source.Nice to have: Conduct thorough research and evaluate pitched ideas based on their potential impact, technological feasibility, and market fit.Assist the investment team with Due Diligence processes (potential for learning opportunities).Proven ability to identify high-potential founders with innovative ideas that align with Brinc's investment thesis.
