The Role: The Sustainability Project Officer provides support to the Sustainability Officer to ensure Orange City Council meets its legislative obligations in relation to Sustainability, Climate Change and Environment, including:
Assisting the Sustainability Officer with all relevant programs implemented across Council's operations. Participating in the investigation and implementing savings in water, waste and energy across Council's operations. Assisting with the management and delivery of sustainability projects. Undertaking support Clerk duties for the Environmental Sustainability Community Committee. Preparing written communications such as project reports and technical reviews. What can we offer? About You: Diploma qualifications in Science, Education, Project Management or similar. Relevant experience in a similar role. Knowledge of Ecologically Sustainable Development principles. Understanding of emerging sustainability technologies and solutions. Current Drivers Licence. Is this job for you?
