The World of Red Bull provides the forum for you to use your talent and passion, to develop & grow yourself and make an impact through our purpose of giving wings to people & ideas.Commencing in January 2025, the Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Manager will lead the cross-functional Red Bull (RBAU) Sustainability working group, focused on interpreting and delivering the global strategic direction. This role will work alongside the global sustainability team in establishing sustainability, modern slavery and social governance goals and implementing policies and initiatives to achieve short- and long-term targets. This person is also responsible for maintaining visibility to the horizon of topics and influences in the ESG space, ensuring adherence to all laws and industry regulations. The ESG Manager will also be the RBAU expert on Deposit Return Schemes, ensuring business compliance throughout implementation and ongoing adherence to the schemes.All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:TEAM AND FUNCTIONLive and breathe the RB philosophies and be active in driving forward the sustainability agenda.Work in partnership with our Global sustainability team and other internal teams to design and implement the sustainability programme for Red Bull AU.Lead the local cross functional working group to implement sustainability programs, policies, and procedures.Lead the Modern Slavery statement preparation, identifying risks and driving initiatives to ensure compliance to local regulations.Build awareness and engagement through appropriate communication to the business, including presentations and business communications.Support all functions in development function specific plans to ensure compliance.SUSTAINABILITYTrack and measure Red Bull Australia's CO2 footprint to the lowest and most accurate level possible, and report via Red Bull tools (ie Climate Partner).Develop and execute RBAU Strategic Sustainability Plan, encompassing all elements of the business, including but not limited to, marketing, sales, operations and events.Participate in external associations and networks to ensure that Red Bull Australia is abreast of the latest local and global learning and development.Ensure that the relevant sustainability elements are incorporated within all supplier contracts and agreements, whilst regularly ensuring compliance to these.MODERN SLAVERYBe responsible for Red Bull Australia's development of and compliance to, Australia's Modern Slavery Act via our Annual Statement.Explore, develop and implement Modern Slavery related initiatives, including completion of risk assessments, identifying required actions and assisting all functions drafting responses.Ensure independent risk assessments are completed, and audits of high-risk suppliers are completed.Coordinate the drafting and approval of stakeholders ensuring alignment of statement.Lodge final modern slavery statement each year.STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENTWork alongside the Red Bull communication team to deliver communications internally and externally on sustainability initiatives.Own and manage relationships with key external partners.Partner with the Red Bull Regulatory team to review both current and future local sustainability regulatory requirements and inform local and global stakeholders as necessary.Identify key suppliers and partner with contract owners and supplier to ensure robust ESG roadmap in place.Build an effective network to understand common Sustainability challenges internally and across our industry to enable proactive positioning and strategy development.Initiate and respond to inquiries from internal and external teams regarding Red Bull sustainability practices with a focus on customer requests.REPORTINGComplete submissions as required to ensure compliance to internal and or external requirements (Climate Partner, APCO, BEIC, etc.).Own the data collection of sustainability metrics and report as necessary to internal and external stakeholders including global counterparts, senior leadership, customers, and regulatory bodies.Be the expert on ensuring RB are compliant with emerging ESG reporting requirements.Ensure sustainability commitments and targets are appropriately embedded into key tools, systems, and ways of working.Represent and communicate the sustainability strategy among senior leadership functions to drive integration and accountability as a critical component of business success.Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:5+ years working in a similar role within a large multinational organisation or consulting firm.Demonstrable experience running projects and leading / influencing cross functional teams.Ability to use programme management skills in innovative ways and remain flexible as the role develops. Identify interdependencies between functions and facilitate cooperative working.Experience establishing partnerships with suppliers, NGOs, and industry bodies.Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to build a network of connections both internally and externally.Experience in developing, recommending, and implementing improvements to resolve problems.Subject matter knowledge and expertise of environmental and social sustainability in food/beverage industries.Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework surrounding sustainability requirements.You warrant that:You have read and understand the Privacy Statement and the Red Bull Australia Privacy Policy.You are qualified to work in Australia and understand that Red Bull Australia may require you to provide evidence of this to comply with its obligations under the Migration Act 1958 (Cth).All the information you have submitted to Red Bull Australia Pty Ltd (including via this application and any attachments) is true, accurate and complete.
