Our opportunity As a Sustainability Engineer , you will be responsible for the delivery of sustainability strategy, including: Monitor, analyse and report on building performance (carbon, energy, water and waste). Develop and deliver resource efficiency initiatives to achieve Mirvac and Fund Sustainability targets. Provide specialist ESG / engineering support to the Asset Management Teams. Support asset NABERS ratings, Tenancy Lighting Assessments and BEEC certificates. Support Green Star Performance Ratings.

Other responsibilities will include: Support / perform NABERS ratings and obtain BEEC certificates on properties under management as programmed to meet corporate and regulatory requirements. Develop efficiency initiatives to reduce resource consumption and waste generation. Monitor, analyse and report on building resource usage using systems including MeteringDynamics, iSystain, Bueno, Bitpool, BMCS systems and sub metering platforms. Track performance against asset, portfolio, Fund sustainability targets. Perform efficiency audits and provide feedback/support to Facility Management teams. Perform night audits on properties. Support Facility Management and PMO teams in the preparation of efficiency capital expenditure proposals, particularly evaluating the technical merits, resource savings and financial paybacks. Provide general support to Facility Management teams on sustainability issues. Develop and review policies and procedures to meet statutory and corporate requirements. Research and present innovative new technologies. Maintain regular contact with properties under management and hold monthly reviews. Represent Mirvac at industry events and panels. Research and apply for applicable funding opportunities. Support the delivery of the Asset Management Sustainability Scorecard and Fund ESG targets.

Your point of difference 3+ years experience

in a similar role, preferably in the property industry.Experience of water management

and water efficiency.Experience of energy management

and building automation systems.Experience of data management, analysis, reporting and data auditability. Tertiary Qualification

in engineering or similar.NABERS assessor

and BEEC registered.Green Star Accredited Professional. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite,

particularly Microsoft Excel.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
