Transform the everyday through your role in creating sustainable transport solutions. In this role, you will be working as a Sustainability Coordinator, to support the new Western Sydney Airport metro line, and will be working with the team to collate key customer reporting and support project initiatives. You responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Developing and implementing sustainability strategies and plans in alignment with the company's sustainability and environment goals. Conducting environmental assessments, audits, and compliance checks to ensure projects adhere to legal and contractual environmental requirements. Managing environmental risks, including contamination management and the implementation of mitigation measures. Ensuring projects achieve sustainability ratings and certifications, such as those for green building or infrastructure. Advocating for the use of sustainable materials and practices Providing input for social procurement initiatives to foster positive community and environmental outcomes. Communicating environment and sustainability objectives and outcomes effectively with project teams and stakeholders. Your qualifications and skills to create a sustainable better tomorrow. You are a fresh graduate, or have some experience in Environmental Science, Sustainability or related disciplines. You are passionate about sustainability in rail industry.
