Position:
IMECNT is seeking a skilled and motivated experienced surveyor/graduate team leader and professional with a keen interest in changing the landscape in the Northern Territory of geospatial services through the use of emerging technologies. The right candidate will have a strong record in surveying and a desire to learn new geospatial data capture methods.
The ideal candidate will possess: · Experience as a surveyor within Australia and/or New Zealand
· 3D survey data capture experience
· Experience preparing and using 3D survey data effectively
· Experience working with UAV's and CASA legislation
· A strong understanding and background in GNSS
· Project management skills
· Various software skills including CAD
· A strong motivation to learn new technologies and skills
· A commitment to customer service and client relations
· A commitment to safe work practices
Preferred Qualifications: Qualifications as a Surveyor that are recognised within AustraliaUniversity Degree/Diploma in Surveying or equivalentRemote Pilots Licence RePL and/or Certificate III Aviation (Remote Pilot)Tasks & responsibilities The role is within the geospatial services team, however extends into other departments when required. Team members are expected to travel away from home for extended periods of time when required and weekend work is occasionally required. Applicants should be fit and capable of working in the field for extended hours as necessary.
