Your benefits include relocation assistance, salary packaging, life insurance, income protection, quarterly performance bonuses, employee share scheme, referral bonuses, recognition program, study assistance, and discounted health insurance.The roster for this position is 8/6 - DIDO or residential.We understand that flexible work means something different to everyone and encourage you to have a conversation about the flexible work options available.About the roleReporting to the Senior Mining Surveyor, this position is responsible for providing technical support to the Senior Mining Surveyor in the conduct of all underground mine survey activities, to appropriate standards.Key Responsibilities will include:Assisting in developing the mine technical services survey team.Playing a hands-on role in the day-to-day activities of the mine technical services section.Liaising with the geology and mine production sections to coordinate and implement daily, weekly, and longer-term project work for the survey team.Planning and undertaking underground development heading set out and face markups, laser installations, void pickups, subsistence/deformation monitoring, EOM survey, computation, processing, and reporting.Assisting the open pit survey team when required.Helping develop new and review current procedures and safe work practices within the technical services section.Contributing to short and longer-term planning activities when required, including helping maintain the Survey plan and document filing system and library.Championing Evolution Mining's Values and commitment to Safety, Environment, Inclusion and Diversity, and Emissions Reduction (Net Zero).About youThe ideal candidate should have a recognized tertiary qualification or a TAFE or advanced diploma, with previous underground survey experience. You must be willing to work within the mine survey team and in an underground mining environment. You will have had some exposure to modern survey instrumentation, practices, and possess the associated computer skills. Prior exposure to Deswik software is highly desirable, but not a requirement.
