Haynes are currently seeking a Survey Officer (Animal Management) for a Client based in the Isaac Region , whose commitment to Council laws and community engagement extends to this crucial role within the Organisation.
About the Role Conducting programs and monitoring compliance to align with legislation and laws relating to domestic animal keeping, including registrations, licencing and general keeping Co-operate with Courts to provide evidence, applications for Warrants/Orders to Enter, etc and issuing of Infringement notices relating to legislation breaches Provide Customer Service by way of education and awareness of legislation and laws relating to responsible pet ownership Participate in planning and brainstorming sessions to develop solutions and ongoing improvement relating to matters relating to animal management Completing animal management duties within competency/skill-set, including capture and impounding of animals Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol testing, and willing to obtain vaccinations relevant for occupation Valid Rights to Work in Australia What the Role Offers Hold a Current Open Drivers Licence Previous experience with Local Laws and Government is advantageous Ability to work both within a team and autonomously Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – and good time management skills Short-term contract, with potential for extension At Haynes, we keep things simple: We back the talent of our people and land the jobs that best suit their needs.
