Survey Group is an independent survey consultancy specialising in the engineering and civil construction, mining, petroleum and land management industries.
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Survey Manager, based in our Osborne Park office, to coordinate staff and resources across our Pilbara projects.
The Survey Manager should possess significant survey experience, along with demonstrated ability to coordinate survey activities and promote a professional team environment.
A major component of the role is to maintain and build client relationships, whilst promoting the services of Survey Group.
The Survey Manager makes the necessary responsible decisions to expedite the successful accomplishment of assigned projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: First point of call for potential and existing client calls Attend to and manage clients, being their first point of contact for queries, requests and non-conformances etc.
Coordinate new job setup, prepare fee proposals, quotes and tenders, supervising projects from start to finish Oversee and coordinate project resources Visits to site and field work as required Be aware of, and promote a healthy and safe workplace Actively support the continual development of the IMS and its processes Assist in training, development and mentor workers to grow their professional judgment and career Build the company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organisations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards Selection Criteria: Demonstrated experience as an Engineering Surveyor / Project Surveyor Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, manage time effectively and set priorities Demonstrated computer literacy and keyboard skills Strong safety ethic and commitment to Survey Group's quality policy and associated documents Please note, only short-listed candidates will be contacted, and your application will be treated as strictly confidential.
