18th December, 2024 Join the Exact team as a Survey Manager, supporting our remote FIFO and DIDO projects in this support services based role, with site travel as required.
This role will report directly to the Operations Manager and work in conjunction with Project Managers and Area Managers to achieve project objectives.
The successful candidate will have to regularly travel to site and assist with filling resource gaps as required, which involves working in remote, hot, dry and dusty environments.
Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide support and assistance with major project start-ups.
Conduct regular site visits and support project resourcing as required.
Coordinate and manage all surveying equipment & assets across projects.
Maintaining records and licences for all survey equipment.
Maintaining supplier and contractor relationships.
Ensures compliance with audits and inspection requirements.
Maintains up to date knowledge of best practices and innovation, providing for continual improvement of survey operations.
Ensures legal compliance in all activities undertaken as required.
Provides guidance and training internally to assist the growth of others.
Candidate Requirements Relevant surveying tertiary qualification (Cert IV or higher); Experience within the civil or mining industry; Proficiency with a range of relevant software including AutoCad, 3D Civil and Surpac; Highly experienced with GPS systems, Trimble Total Station and Trimble Machine Control; The ability to work remotely as required; and Current valid drivers licence.
