APG Workforce is seeking a motivated and experienced Survey Assistant to join our client's team in Buderim.This role offers the opportunity to contribute to key road infrastructure projects while developing your technical skills in a collaborative and professional environment.About the RoleAs a Survey Assistant, you will provide efficient and effective survey technical services, working closely with the Surveyor and the broader team.
Your responsibilities will include supporting field surveys, managing spatial data, and assisting in data processing operations.
With your technical expertise and commitment to excellence, you will help ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.Working HoursMaximum of 38 hours per week between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.Maximum of 8 hours per day in a 5-day workweek during TMR business hours, unless prior approval is obtained.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Surveyor with field surveys, including compiling, storing, recording, and setting out spatial data.Support the application of modeling techniques to meet project specifications.Perform basic data processing tasks under supervision.Provide technical support to survey projects, contributing to their successful completion.Operate survey equipment such as EDMEs and GPS under guidance.Follow project documentation processes, including quality assurance and data archiving.Actively participate in training and development programs alongside Graduate Surveyors and Cadet Technologists.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and ensure value for money and best practices.Maintain effective communication with the Surveyor and team to ensure seamless project execution.Assist in analyzing and interpreting survey data using appropriate tools and techniques.AccountabilitiesApply project management and surveying principles relevant to your expertise.Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and legislative requirements for road infrastructure surveying.Promote a safe work environment by adhering to OH&S procedures and risk management principles.Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project objectives.Mandatory RequirementsCurrent First Aid and CPR certification.Additional InformationTravel to construction site offices may be required and will be discussed upon contract appointment.Ready to take the next step?
