The Survey and Quote (S&Q) Coordinator is responsible for the preparation of contracts to support Annual Target Cost Estimates (TCE's) and Survey and Quote contract amendments for Austal ISS business unit.
What's Involved Manage allocated tasks to deliver and meet the expectations of project leaders.Establish and maintain relationships across all contracts and programs with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely development of the contract (S&Q) including all artefacts to ensure they are accurate and complete.Prepare a presentation to support contract approvals in line with Austal delegation framework.Manage the preparation of Contracts (S&Q's) to ensure timely and complete delivery.Prepare Contracts (S&Q), for the ISS business unit and specific allocated projects that reflect the contract whilst meeting and exceeding customer expectations.Ensure all elements have been considered including but not limited to Engineering Services, Maintenance Services, Supply Support Services.Identify Improvement opportunities that support capability improvement and wider ISS business unit efficiencies.Conduct analysis of IFS/CMMS/P6 data to support the technical and financial closure of projects.Undertake investigations required to ensure the accurate and timely closure of Contracted annual TCE's and S&Q's.Identify commercial and finance risks associated with the scope of the Contract (S&Q) and ensure they are captured and managed in accordance with Austal risk framework.You'll need Essential Cert 4 in Contract Administration and demonstrable experience in a similar discipline.Excellent time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing multiple project staff.Experience with estimating/quoting or Contract Administration.Time management and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines, whilst overseeing multiple tasks and projects.Be results driven, with a strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience providing consistent and high-quality output.Proficient in IFS or a similar ERP system.Ability to Gain Baseline Clearance.Desirable Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Previous Defence/Government/Commercial experience.Why Austal Competitive compensation and benefits package.Professional development and training opportunities.A supportive and dynamic work environment.Opportunities for career advancement within our growing organisation.Our global team is guided by a universal set of values that describe the focus of our efforts.
