We have an exciting in contract opportunity as Surveillance and Investigations Manager employed on a Full Time basis at our client site, Melbourne Airport.
This salaried role will have nominal work hours of Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1700, with availability outside those hours required to respond to critical incidents (given it is a 24/7 operation).
Reporting to the General Manager – Aviation Security, the Surveillance and Investigations Manager will manage the surveillance capability and lead the Melbourne Airport security incident investigation process, including personnel management and guidance, process development and reporting responsibilities.
A snapshot of what you will do:
Lead a team of ISS Security Surveillance officers whilst developing capability to report and investigate security incidents, contact trace, analyse footage to mine data and enhance operator knowledge of CCTV and access control systems
Own the Melbourne Airport investigative process and development of the operational framework required to support the accurate delivery of detailed investigations
Capture, identify, analyse and report on security technology, systems and compliance data within agreed timelines and against agreed plans/parameters
Be responsible for financial and operational efficiencies, and enhanced security response and reporting
Partner with our client (APAM) whilst establishing and maintaining productive relationships with Airport stakeholders
Champion change! – challenge the status quo and champion continuous and measurable improvement

Represent ISS as a professional and committed partner to the success and continuous improvement of the contract

What will you possess to be successful?
Ability to obtain an ASIC (or currently hold an ASIC)
Diploma of Risk Management and Business Continuity (or relevant experience)
Highly developed strategic and operational planning skills in a security context
Experience in compliance and legislative framework around airport security (or equivalent)
Extensive security background (corporate, military, law enforcement)
Strong leadership, commercial skills, and organisational savviness
Experience in management of large scale, diverse workforce across multiple sites
Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
Organised - outcome and deadline oriented
High personal integrity
