We are looking for a talented individual to join our surgical sales team in Queensland to grow the Alcon Surgical Glaucoma portfolio in your territory (North Brisbane to Sunshine coast, including regional travel to Cairns and Mackay).
ResponsibilitiesGenerates and develops new business to meet specified sales goals.Develop, maintain and grow surgical glaucoma business to achieve sales targets.Drive uptake and awareness of new treatment options in glaucoma working with internal and external stakeholders.Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of MIGS industry product information.Plan and manage sales territory.Create, maintain and optimize relationships with existing key customers.Promote and drive utilization of appropriate products to all existing and potential customers.Organize and coordinate local educational meetings.Educate Alcon surgical field sales team regarding surgical glaucoma.Prepare and present sales proposals.Understand and communicate information regarding company products, services, and policies to new and existing clients.Any other duties or projects as requested by the manager.RequirementsB.A. or B.S. is required.5 years medical device experience, preferably in ophthalmic sales.Expertise in surgical, glaucoma, and cataract surgery preferred.Ability to thrive in a surgical environment.At least 7 years of experience in Sales with a proven track record of success.Professional manner, proficiency, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.Capable of regularly interacting with physician investigators/customers and establishing meaningful business/client relationships.Ability and experience to travel up to 50%.Valid driver's license and passport.Excellent problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Applicants need to have full Australian work rights.
