In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of clerical, reception, ward clerk, and secretarial functions by providing relief during annual leave, long service leave, and other unexpected absences.
Reporting to the Business Consultant, Surgical Directorate, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks of clerical staff, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time, and handling complex administrative issues as they arise.As a central point of support, you will work collaboratively with hospital staff to assess priorities and allocate workloads efficiently.
You'll offer expert guidance to less experienced team members, ensuring high standards of service and continuous improvement.
This role requires someone with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as you will be coordinating between departments to meet the evolving needs of the Surgical Directorate while maintaining a positive, team-focused environment.
