We are looking for a talented Support Care Officer to support the work of our Fundraising Department at the RSPCA. Work from home flexibility!
11th October, 2024 As Supporter Care Officer at our Yagoona Shelter, you will provide support for the Fundraising department in processing donations, fulfilling event registration packs, coordinating departmental inbound and outbound daily mail, administration duties, responding to donor enquiries, and answering the donations phone line. We offer flexible working arrangements with a combination of onsite and work from home.

Sort, open and distribute mail on daily arrivalProcess donations and event registrations within an appropriate time frame within SalesforcePost receipts and event registration packs accordinglyAnswer and respond to the Donations line and inbox, including responding to voicemail messages within 24 hoursTake donations and event registrations over the phoneRespond to donor queries in a professional and courteous mannerComplete the donor thank you process to an appropriate standardFollow up on declined transactions within 24 hoursMaintain databases with complete accuracy, including processing Return to SenderResearch other charities' campaigns and donor care processes to keep up to date with the current marketAccept and action managerial and customer feedback in a positive mannerAd-hoc administration support to the Fundraising Team when required About You You will have confidence and strong communication skills to interact with both individuals and groups of all shapes and sizes.
Certified in administration or equivalent (desired)Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite applicationsMinimum 1 year of experience working in administration or secretarial rolesHigh level of communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of attention to detailConflict resolution skillsStrong organisational skills whilst prioritising tasks at handAbility to work autonomously and multitask, as well as proven experience to contribute to a teamAn interest in animal welfareExperience working within Salesforce is desirable but not necessary If this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you!
