ResponsibilitiesAs part of your new role, you will be responsible for:
Assisting in programming and facilitating weekly playgroups and in-home coaching in different locations around Ballarat.Working with eligible families within our community as part of the Smalltalk program, which is an evidence-based model designed to teach and guide families with effective yet simple strategies to improve parenting confidence and build parenting capacity.Further training and qualifications in this program will be provided for the successful applicant.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to hold relevant qualifications such as Early Childhood, Family Support, Social Work, or similar, as detailed in the Supported Playgroup Policy and Funding Guidelines.
You will also need a current driver's licence, as this role involves regular local travel.
Preferred experience includes:
