We are seeking Disability Support Workers for our clients based in Monto. As an integral part of our Disabilities Services team, you'll be supported to grow and develop your own skills while helping our clients with day-to-day tasks and achieving their goals.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be balancing your commitment to actively work in partnership with individuals and their families while helping the people we support, in their own homes or within group care.
The work is varied, interesting, and fulfilling. This may include helping someone to get up, have a shower and breakfast, and then head out to an appointment; or assisting someone to catch up with friends for coffee, or engaging in a favorite hobby, sport, or a day out.

MUST be willing to use their own vehicleMUST be available Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 am to 3 pmPrevious experience with supporting participants with positive behaviour supports preferable.Need to be able to work Saturdays and also be flexible (able to work varied hours and days) and reliable to meet the needs of the people we supportAble to effectively communicate in spoken and written EnglishExperience working in the Disability, Aged and Community sector is ideal but not essential – as long as you have a positive attitude and a willingness to learnA current NDIS Worker Screening check and Blue Card – don't worry if you don't have one, as we can help you apply prior to employmentOpen Driver's License; andCurrent CPR and First Aid Certificate (required before you start)What makes a difference for you?
