We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our QLD team in Hervey Bay and Maryborough. Duties and responsibilities may include: Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistanceDomestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparationSocial support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointmentsSupporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment including standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual handling or electric hoists, sliding sheets or moving boards, hearing aids, and other physical aidsSupporting customers with complex and/or challenging needsMonitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progressParticipating in staff meetings and attending training as requiredWhat you will need:Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services (preferred)Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificateCurrent CPR / First Aid CertificateCurrent and satisfactory Federal Police Check, Yellow Card & Blue CardCurrent Australian Driver's LicenceReliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred)Smartphone with internet accessNext steps:If you would like to join our growing team of Support Workers and become part of our friendly, professional network, please Apply today.
