Greatway Support is seeking passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland.
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients, providing compassionate and individualised care and support.
Key responsibilities Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and housekeepingFacilitating social and recreational activities to promote client wellbeing and independence in line with their goalsAdvocating for client needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality careMaintaining detailed client records and documentation in line with industry standardsAdhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of clientsWhat we're looking for A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilitiesPrevious experience in a similar role, preferably within the community services or aged care sectorStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their familiesA caring, empathetic, and patient approach to working with diverse client needsRelevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalentA valid driver's licence and reliable transportationWhat we offer
