About the role: As an Aged Care or Disability Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with our participants by providing personalized one-to-one or two-to-one support, working in our SIL (supported independent living) houses or out supporting them in the community.
Your goal will be to assist participants to engage and enhance their daily living skills, strengthen relationships with families and carers, enhance social connections and community networks, and grow confidence and independence to live safely in the community.
About You: We're looking for Support Workers who:
Have excellent people skills, experience in mental health care, and a sound understanding of Aged Care and NDIS.Can work on a rotating roster in Rockhampton.Are passionate about supporting individuals to realise their full potential.Assistance with personal care when and if required.Has experience supporting participants in advocating for their choices, and enabling participants to achieve their goals and live their best lives.Values honesty and integrity and has a proven track record when it comes to displaying these values in employment.Can set clear, consistent, and kind boundaries and can follow employment guidelines.Requirements: Able to do sleepovers on a rotating rosters/ or provide support with community access.Own reliable transport and current drivers licence.Be able to obtain or have a Blue and NDIS yellow card.Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.National Police Clearance (no longer than 3 months).Available for various shifts/days and times.What we offer: Flexible working arrangements.Weekends/night /day/24x7 shifts are availableSalary sacrifice (take home more pay fortnightly)How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
