Must have Qualifications & Experience Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability.
Applicants with qualifications in a related field of study are encouraged to apply.Previous experience of two years or more, supporting and caring for participants with behavioural issues and hoisting experience will be highly regarded.NDIS Worker Screening Check and undergo a criminal record check.Valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with fully comprehensive insurance.Current First Aid + CPR certificate.Blue Card, Yellow Card.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Compassion, patience, and respect shown to clients at all times is a must.Tasks & Responsibilities Assisting with personal care, such as daily hygiene, getting dressed, and assisting with any dispensation of medicines.Helping with household chores, such as cooking, laundry, and cleaning.Taking clients grocery shopping, medical appointments, or sporting and social events.Provide emotional support and be able to listen and empathise with the client.Accurate shift notes and records kept on the client and passed onto team members as required.Rostered shifts up to two weeks in advance.Opportunity to assist in covering shifts at short notice where an over and above shift bonus of $150 (pre-tax) is available.Placement opportunities that are as close to your local area as possible.Up to 40 hours per week (minimum 24 hours).Set Shift times are: 1) 6am - 2pm, 2) 2pm - 10pm, 3) 2pm - 10pm with an inactive sleepover then 6am to 2pm (16 hours in a 24-hour period), 4) Active Sleepover 10pm - 6am.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO WORK ANY OF THESE SHIFTS.Your application will include the following questions:
