In this dynamic role, you'll help create a safe and welcoming space that empowers our clients, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, client-centered services fostering a respectful and supportive environment every step of the way.
Responsibilities Be a compassionate first point of contact for clients at Pete's Place, assisting with their daily needs and ensuring a warm, safe, and inclusive environment.
Facilitate the entry and assessment process for new clients and support the daily operations of the site.
Collaborate with case managers to deliver tailored support plans that respect and respond to each client's unique needs.
Maintain organised client records and ensure adherence to high standards of quality and trauma-informed care practices.
Engage clients in activities, guide them through services, and advocate for their needs with external agencies.
You WIll Need: A heart for service, a calm demeanor, and the ability to offer non-judgmental, ethical support.
Excellent communication skills and a desire to work within a collaborative team setting.
Experience or qualifications in social services, with a focus on homelessness, mental health, or community work (Cert IV preferred or in progress).
First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
