This is a key role, working to enable and empower our housemates to live independently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Delivering personalised support in the home and out in the community based on the needs and interest of the housemates Assisting housemates to create healthy meals, with personal care and administering medications Support housemates to engage and participate in the community and assist with medical appointments Enter case notes into the Client Management System WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Experienced, professional with a positive and passionate approach to providing the highest level of support Be energetic, ambitious, and seeking to learn and grow in the role A commitment to providing responsive, person-centred, and considerate care Flexible and adaptive communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills REQUIREMENTS: Flexibility to work morning, evening, and weekends Possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID003) Certificates Full Covid Vaccination including Booster Full NSW Driver's Licence & a reliable vehicle Rights to work in Australia Experience with Behaviour Management - desirable but not essential This is your opportunity to join our team and make an extraordinary contribution to the lives of people with special needs!
