Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development) I am a young man in my 20's with a keen interest in music, movies, and gaming. I am a very genuine and caring guy, with a good sense of humour. I am currently living with my grandparents in their home in the Seville Grove area and alongside them, I have a great team and network of wonderful support staff around me who provide 24/7 support to assist me to continue living with my family. I also have a couple of small pet dogs that keep me company and whom I love to bits!
Maintaining my health and well-being takes a lot of work and is pretty involved. I require someone who is passionate and dedicated to helping me successfully get through my daily routine. The support I need includes personal care such as showering and grooming, posture support, PEG feeding, and medication assistance, so experience with supporting someone with this is essential. Although my support is required 24/7, I tend to be more awake and active during the evenings and am looking for comfortable staff working evenings and overnights with me.
I want people in my life who are passionate and fun, have good social skills, and feel comfortable talking to me about day-to-day events. I don't get to leave my home much, so I rely on my team to share stories and keep me informed about the outside world. It is really important to me that I can get along with and have a laugh with my support team, but I also trust that they are very serious and reliable when it comes to my care needs.
Times and days seeking support include: Monday to Sunday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Overnight shifts. Most shifts are either 5-8 hours in length.Ideally, I need someone who is available to support me throughout the week during the following times:6:30am -1:30pm1:30pm – 8:30pm5:00pm – 10:00pm10:00pm – 6:30amIf you feel that you are the right person to join my team or would like to find out more about what I am looking for, please reach out and apply for the role so we can discuss further.
