We are currently recruiting for 1x new Support Workers to join our team based in South Launceston region to provide domestic assistance (such as cleaning and meal prep), intimate personal care, social support, and implement health and wellbeing initiatives that support our clients.
As a Support Worker, you will join our esteemed national team of community services professionals, dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence and well-being.

Multiple Permanent part time positions available - (hours offered will be dependent on your availability)Work and travel around Longford, Perth and South Launceston and surrounding areas will be required ( up to an hour travel)Preferred availability from Monday to Friday 7 am to 7 pm.Benefit from a base hourly rate of $30.94 (depending on qualifications) plus superannuation, and eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging.We welcome applicants with or without Certificate III in Individual Support or its equivalent.Maximize your take-home pay through our not-for-profit salary packaging.Experience the freedom of a mobile work environment, with a travel allowance of 99 cents per kilometre for driving between services.Receive a mobile allowance when utilising your personal device for work-related purposes.Access our Employee Assistance Program free of charge, providing a broad range of confidential counselling, financial, and legal advice for you and your family whenever needed.Who are you? To excel in this role, you will need the following:
Must have a Certificate III or above in Aged Care/Disability/EquivalentGenuine passion for working with older adults and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.A valid driver's licence.A registered, reliable, and fully insured motor vehicle.Confidence in utilising various forms of technology, such as smartphones or tablets.A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or a willingness to obtain one.A current National Police Check or a willingness to obtain one.Flexibility in terms of availability, including the ability to work within the hours of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday.As a community support worker, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of older adults within your community.
