The OpportunityWe are currently looking for experienced and passionate Care Aides to join our team in Hedland.
We have multiple permanent part-time roles available, offering flexible working hours, with contracts ranging from a minimum of 10 hours per week, up to 30 hours per week.
Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday- Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm.

Our Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible.
Responsibilities include a range of personal care tasks including showering, grooming, toileting, and other support such as medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks and social support in the community.
Care Aides will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential.
About YouCertificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience.
Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.Align to Silverchain Groups COVID-19 vaccination policy which requires evidence of vaccination against COVID-19, or evidence of an authorised medical exemption.Benefits$33.36 p/h + superProvided with a mobile phone for work purposes.17.5% annual leave loading and excess leave cash out options.4-6 weeks Annual Leave per year, with ability to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave per year.Paid parental leave provisions.Discounts from several retailers, health insurance & fitness providers including HBF, Medibank and NIB.Social club discounts - cheaper tickets to events & attractions including cinemas, theatre shows, Zoo, Aqwa, Scitech, Adventure World and more.Referral Scheme – receive $250 e-voucher, for each friend or family member you refer, who commences work with Silverchain.How to ApplyTo submit your application, and to view a copy of the Position Description, click 'Apply'.
