$30 – $34.99 per hour

We utilise the key worker model to coordinate services that keep pace with our service users' aspirations and fit in with their individual needs. Qualifications & experience Demonstrated experience as a Disability Support Worker Certificate III Individual Support or relevant (or currently enrolled) Australian drivers licence (minimum P2) Recent Police Clearance First Aid Certificate CPR NDIS Worker Screening Check NDIS Worker Orientation Module Working With Children Check Up to date with your COVID19 vaccinations Reliable smart phone with data Show a strong willingness to learn new skills Flexibility around client commitments Able to navigate and adapt in different/challenging situations Ability to prioritise tasks to best meet client needs Time management skills and ability to plan ahead Tasks & responsibilities Make a difference through providing compassionate care, building trust and taking the lead to support individuals to live in residential home Enhance the lives of our participants by supporting them to live safely and with dignity at home Provide services such as personal care, use of manual handling equipment, welcome companionship, light household duties, medication reminders, and transport for appointments, shopping, and social outings There are various group based recreational activities both at the center and in the community which you will be a part of. This role is fast-faced and requires someone that can work with multiple clients and has a high level of initiative.
