Job Summary:
SCSS is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide personalised care and support to individuals with varying disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care and support to individuals with varying disabilities.Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.Support individuals in attending medical appointments, accessing community resources, social inclusion, and wellbeing activities.Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals.Monitor and document client progress and care provided.Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care.What we're looking for: Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities (not essential).A genuine passion for supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities.Relevant qualifications in disability support, healthcare, or a related field are desirable.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ability to use and access a smartphone for clocking in/out and shift notes.Prior to commencement in this role, team members must hold or be eligible to hold: Blue Card for Working with Children, NDIS Worker Screening, CPR Certificate, and a valid unrestricted driver's license.
