Support Worker

As an In-Home Care Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
Individualised Support: Providing a range of services to clients with disabilities, such as housekeeping, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, medication management, and more.Knowledge and Care: Demonstrating an understanding of health and well-being, cultural plans, transition plans, and behaviour support plans, and being knowledgeable about NDIS protocols.Community Inclusion: Assisting clients in participating in community activities.Communication: Providing regular feedback to managers.Compliance: Adhering to Normality Plus's Code of Conduct, policies, and Quality Management Systems to ensure the highest standards of care and support.Safety and Wellbeing: Demonstrating a strong commitment to the safety and well-being of yourself, clients, and others in the work environment.Your application for this position will require you to have: NDIS Worker Screening ClearanceWWCCurrent First Aid CertificateUnrestricted Australian Driver's License and vehicle with Comprehensive InsuranceCertificate III or IV in individual supports (aged care, disability, or home and community services) (applicants currently undertaking any of the above courses will be considered)Experience working within the In-Home Care environmentAbility to meet deadlines, reliability, and work with minimal supervision.Effective written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to write clear care notes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
