Support Workers provide care, emotional support, physical assistance, and supervision for people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.
The specifics of the role depend on the client; however, Support Workers tend to focus on tasks that alleviate physical discomfort and promote social connectedness, independence, emotional wellbeing, and general health.
