As a Support Worker, you will join our esteemed national team of community services professionals, dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence and well-being.

About the role: As a Support Worker you will be providing support and care for individuals aged 65 and above in the East Launceston community.
Permanent part-time opportunity with guaranteed 40 hours/FN depending on your availabilityExperience variety by visiting clients in their homes within the East Launceston covering Launcestonand surrounding areasPreferred availability from Monday to FridayBenefit from a base hourly rate of $30.94(plus superannuation, Km's reimbursement, salary packaging)We welcome applicants with Certificate III in Individual Support or its equivalent.Maximize your take-home pay through our not-for-profit salary packaging.Receive a mobile allowance when utilizing your personal device for work-related purposes.Access our Employee Assistance Program free of charge, providing a broad range of confidential counselling, financial, and legal advice for you and your family whenever needed.Who are you? Understanding of and a passion for working with the elderlyMinimum of Cert III Individual Support (or equivalent)A registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicleConfidence in using different forms of technology such as a smart phone or tabletA current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtainA current National Police Check or willingness to obtainFlexible approach to your availability and open to being rostered within work hours of 7.00 am - 7.00 pm, Monday to FridayAs a Community Support Worker, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of older adults withinyour community.
