About the role
Reporting directly to the Manager – Auscare Assist, this role will be responsible for providing exceptional and efficient direct supports to clients of Auscare Support.

This is a casual part-time role.
Hours of work will vary depending on demand. Responsibilities Support NDIS participants with activities of daily living, inclusive of personal and domestic activities, meal preparation and attending appointments.Support with community access, social and recreational activities.Assist in facilitating Auscare Support Social clubs.Provide transport for clients or assistance to use public transport.Provide physical assistance as required, including manual handling.Support and actively encourage clients' participation in decision-making about their service, encouraging choice and control.Completion of documentation as required.Attend staff meetings, supervision and professional development as required.Contribute to the client's individual service planning and review if required.Maintain a professional standard of behaviour in keeping with Auscare Support's Code of Conduct and Ethics.Skills & Experience Delivering supports in line with person-centred practice.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Exceptional time management and organisational skills.A strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and Child Safe Standards.High level understanding of professional boundaries.A sense of fun and adventure.You will need 100 points of identification.Relevant qualifications.Relevant State's Working with Children Check.Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.Current First Aid Certificate.Current CPR certificate.Proof of full Australian working rights.How to apply
