What's in it for you?You'll have the ability to salary package, and the opportunity to further develop your skills and career.A great work-life balance with flexible working arrangements to suit anyone keen to start a career in the rapidly growing aged care sector.We are open to candidates based in Tasmania's south, north, or northwest and have office space in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport, and Burnie.Full-time, part-time, and casual positions can be considered for the right candidate.The opportunity to work with a leading home care provider.The chance to make a real difference in the lives of older Tasmanians.Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progression.A supportive and collaborative team environment.Core ResponsibilitiesProvide in-home support to clients using a strengths-based approach to promote independence and active community participation.Deliver restorative-focused home support programs by providing support and guidance to clients and their carers, including personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and transport.Monitor and document client progress and attend multi-disciplinary meetings to provide feedback.Conduct basic risk assessments in clients' homes and advise relevant team leaders of any issues.Maintain client privacy, confidentiality, dignity, choice, and control at all times, and respect the client's individuality, equality, and diversity.Experience in supporting consumers to achieve agreed goals and outcomes.Good communication and interpersonal skills for relationship-building and record-keeping purposes.Ability to work with limited supervision in diverse community settings.A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.Ideally, you also haveExperience providing domestic, shopping, respite and personal care, plus social support and transport assistance.An understanding of the wellness and reablement approach.The ability to read and comprehend health and reablement plans and document effectively.A strong understanding of risk management, health and safety, and continuous quality improvement.
