Disability Support Workers to join our High Care Accommodation Team in the beautiful little town of Strathalbyn. If you are an experienced Aged Care/Disability Support Worker looking for a hands-on rewarding role or are a Nursing/Allied Health Care Student looking to gain valuable experience with an amazing group of clients, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will work with a variety of clients to manage their health care needs and support their goals. We are looking for candidates who have a relaxed and understanding approach to their role, with an eye for detail, and excellent communication and organisational skills. This role will require afternoon and active overnight shifts. We provide the support you need to help develop your career including paid on-the-job training, annual refreshers, and paid induction training when you first start. You'll have:
The willingness to learn new skills on the job and through training; Certificate III Individual Support advantageous - students welcomed. Passion for health and safety demonstrated through maintaining Senior First Aid, CPR & Safe Environments for Children & Young People. NDIS Worker Check & Working with Children Check. COVID-19 Vaccination including booster or approved Medical Exemption. Medication management, bowel & catheter care experience favourable but not essential.
