About The Position Status: Part Time FTE 0.60 Closing Date for Applications: 12th January 2025 The Disability Services Team provides a variety of NDIS services to people in our community.
As the Support to Access Community (STAC) Engagement Officer, you will support and supervise our team of Disability Support Workers.
This includes supervision, rostering, and onboarding new participants.
You will: Have a strong knowledge of Disability Services and be well connected in your local community.Be a compassionate leader that can support Disability Support Workers in remote areas.Work collaboratively with the Team Leader to recruit Disability Support Workers.Assist new NDIS participants to plan their supports to achieve their goals.It is essential for you to have: Current Australian Drivers Licence.Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related field e.g.
Community Services, Case Management, Disability, Mental Health, Youth Work etc.Relevant experience in a paid or voluntary capacity.A tertiary qualification in a Human Services related field e.g.
Social Work will be highly regarded.
You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
