Support Teacher: Inclusive Education - St Michael's College, MERRIMACSupport Teacher: Inclusive EducationFull-time | PermanentGraduates encouraged to applyCommencing Jan 2025$84,078 - $121,093 per annum + Super (commensurate with experience) St Michael's College is seeking a suitably qualified, dynamic educator to fill the position of Support Teacher: Inclusive Education.
This role involves a teaching load and a case management load.
The successful applicants will be joining an established and dedicated team of teachers, focused on collaborative working practices, supported by outstanding Heads of Departments.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate a commitment to Excellence in Learning and Teaching through co-planning from the approved curriculum; teaching that provides opportunities for students to develop their love of learning; and a mind-frame of continuous improvement through dedicated feedback processes.
A student-focused mindset will be evident in the successful candidate's ability to articulate their experience in working to create an environment where, in partnership with families, they have worked to support students to discover their spark, strength, and spirit.
Experience working within a Responsible Thinking Process framework would be advantageous.

Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum.Commitment to child safety.Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.Proven organisational skills.Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes.Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement. At BCE our teachers are required to: Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration.Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.Have a commitment to Safeguarding.
