We are seeking a suitably qualified Support Teacher, Inclusive Education (STIE) with experience to work with our dedicated Academic Staff as we extend our students to achieve their potential. This is a full time, continuing position. You will be able to confidently work with Academic Staff, classroom-based School Officers, and the College Leadership Team, and work to secure the well-being, engagement, learning growth and achievement of each student. You will be able to facilitate programs, processes and practices focused on developing MacKillop Women as curious, creative, self-directed, and resilient learners to ensure MMC students are people of purpose, achieving their potential.
Role Requirements

Highly developed professional skills in communication, teamwork and emotional intelligence, collegiality, initiative, patience, problem-solving and conflict resolution in a secondary all girls school environment.
An ability to work to adapt to a changing environment.
An ability to create and manage effective and respectful partnerships with ranging stakeholders.
An ability to accept and respond to relevant and appropriate feedback in the spirit of ongoing professionalism and improvement.
An evidence-based understanding of inclusive educational practices and a proven track record of implementation of intervention programs to enhance student outcomes.
Effective organisational and data management skills including: the maintenance of accurate and detailed record keeping in writing PSPs (Personalised Support Plans), thorough documentation processes and adherence to data privacy, discretion and sensitivity in relation to student diagnosis, reports and data.
Highly developed analytical skills including: the capacity to collate and interpret student and school data (academic and pastoral) to guide the educational needs of diverse groups of students.
An explicit and deep understanding of NCCD requirements and processes and the capacity to integrate those into college practices.
