From assessing and planning individual needs to facilitating educational programs and collaborating with key stakeholders, your impact will resonate across communities.
Key responsibilities include: Developing and evaluating educational and therapeutic programs. Providing direct support, case management, and after-hours assistance as needed. Collaborating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities to deliver culturally safe and sustainable outcomes. Guiding and training staff to enhance professional development and service delivery. Building strong networks with community partners and stakeholders. What We're Looking For Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills for this role will consist of: Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related discipline (or 5+ years of equivalent experience). Applied knowledge of child protection and out-of-home care frameworks, including knowledge of the Child Protection Act 1999. Demonstrated ability in assessment, planning, and supporting children and families with complex needs. Two years' experience working with children, youth and families in statutory care, ideally within a multi-disciplinary team. Experience in culturally inclusive practices with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. Current driver's license and ability to acquire a National Police Check, Working with Children (Blue Card), Licensed Care Service (Child Protection).
