The RoleWe are offering multiple casual and permanent part-time opportunities for Support Services Staff, including cleaning staff, laundry staff, and kitchen hands to join our wonderful facility! Reporting to the Support Services Team Leader, the support services team play a pivotal role in delivering essential services at the highest quality.
What you will doCleaning & Laundry Staff:Maintaining legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standardsCleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and living areasCleaning communal and dining areasCleaning and sorting laundryMaintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap, and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use.Adhering to infection control principles, WHS requirements including the safe storage and use of chemicals and complete cleaning requirements according to facility schedulesCompleting required documentation and reportingAd hoc support to the broader team as requiredKitchen Hand:Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinksDistribution of meals to residents, assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen dutiesDining room servicesProviding excellent personalised service to our residentsEnsure duties are performed in accordance with Infection Control and Food Safety Handling StandardsEnsure a high standard and quality of cleanliness throughout the organisation.Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment.Completion of documentationWhat you will bringTrade certification or qualifications and experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care settingExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsCurrently hold and maintain a NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)COVID-19 vaccination - No Longer Mandatory!An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes is highly regarded but not essentialInterested?
