About the Role: Being one of Australia's leading manufacturers in the building & interiors industry requires ongoing support and maintenance. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Support Services Operator to join our Engineering / Support Services Team at the Toolara Plant. This role involves ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the factory and surrounding areas, supporting production, and maintaining a high standard of safety and cleanliness.
Position Details: Work Area: Team Engineering / Support ServicesWork Schedule: Monday – FridayHours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (40 hours per week, including RDO accrual)Overtime: Some overtime may be availableRDO: 1 RDO per monthKey Responsibilities: Maintain and clean factory areas and external roadwaysOperate a sweeper truck and other cleaning equipmentManage bottled water supplies and sanitizationGeneral housekeeping, including garden and litter controlAssist with maintenance and clean-up in various plant areasOperate a forklift and tractor as neededEnsure safety protocols are followed, including eye wash stations and spill kitsProvide support for archives management and visitor escortingPerform general labor and support services across the siteSkills and Attributes: Mandatory forklift ticketManufacturing backgroundAttention to detail and sound computer skillsSafe work ethic and strong reliabilityGood communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to plan, organize, and work unsupervisedStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsTeam player with the ability to work independentlyJoin Our Journey: Laminex is more than a workplace; it's a community committed to excellence, innovation, and creating beloved spaces for Australians.
