Environmental / Food Services Assistant Casual Position Are you an enthusiastic team player seeking a career in healthcare? Hunter Valley Private Hospital is looking to employ an Environmental / Food Services Assistant to join our supportive team. As an Environmental / Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include: Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients. Deliver, serve, and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays. Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly. Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards. Provide a high standard of cleaning services. Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures. Hunter Valley Private Hospital is located on the fringe of Newcastle, close to beaches and the Hunter Valley, and is near the Pacific Motorway, vineyards, and university. The hospital is an 83-bed facility that offers a variety of surgical, medical, and rehabilitation services.

Selection Criteria: Experience in Hospital/Hotel cleaning. Time management skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail. Works well independently and within a team. Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain). Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team. Excellent time management skills. Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work.
