Casual Opportunity to gain wider experience Training & 24/7 Support Sleepover shifts We are looking for experienced Support Professionals to join our team to provide support with challenging behaviors. We help people with disabilities become more independent in their own homes and the community.
Active support: develop personal interests, provide personal care, transportation, and coach independent living skills. Health support: administer and document medication and follow health support plans. Positive behaviour support: manage behaviour triggers and escalation. Safeguarding: ensure the safety of you and the participant, documentation, and reports. About you Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disabilities. Experience working as a support professional in a challenging environment. Knowledge and understanding of behaviour support plans. Ability to manage and escalate challenging behaviours. Flexible with sleepover shifts. C3 in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent is preferred. Available to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights. NDIS Worker Check. National Police Check. Driver's license. First aid certificate. Up to date Covid vaccinations (min 2 doses). We offer Competitive hourly rate based on SCHADS Award 2.1 - 2.2 (pending qualifications).
