About the RoleAs a Support Practitioner, you will:
Deliver 1-2-1 support to individuals in their own home, enabling them to develop skills required to live independently.Keep accurate notes regarding support visits and complete risk assessments, support plans, and reviews for each individual that you support.Be an active member of a supportive team, passionate about the work they do.Celebrate achievements and milestones to create a rewarding and positive environment.The service operates Monday to Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm, with the core hours being Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.About YouYou will have a genuine commitment to use your skills to support people to live their best lives. You will be supported by an approachable management team, allowing you to expand on your existing knowledge while developing new skills. Flexibility to work on a rota is required.
No previous working experience is needed; full training will be provided. We believe having the right values of respect, compassion, inclusion, and integrity is essential to join our team!
About Us – Perth and Kinross Housing and Support Service (PKHSS)Perth Floating Housing Support Service provides support to adults with varying needs within their own homes. The service aims to enable individuals to develop the skills required to independently maintain and sustain their tenancies.
While we welcome experienced practitioners, no previous working experience is needed. You will be provided with all the training, support, and equipment required to successfully fulfil your role.
