Job DescriptionThe Facility Support Technician's primary responsibility is to support (non GxP) operations within the various laboratories on the client site. The main operation areas primarily cover all required Laboratory areas.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Collection of labware from laboratories for cleaning (e.g. glassware, 5L bioreactors etc.)Dismantling of dirty equipmentDisposal of single use componentsPre-wash soak (if required for label removal)Preparation of equipment for washing and drying via a parts washerPreparation of equipment for sterilisation via an autoclaveStorage and restockingDelivery of clean equipment / kits to laboratoriesAll activities will be captured via electronic record systems that details the equipment and consumables (if applicable) used and adherence to specified methodKeeping work areas clean, organised, neat and tidy.Compliance with the client sites OHS / QA Systems and regulatory requirements.Assisting in the development and implementation of continuous improvement project activities.Other duties as required.Act in accordance with the Eurofins Code of Ethics, and all other relevant policies and procedures, as updated from time to time.QualificationsLaboratory Skills TAFE certificate / Diploma in an appropriate scientific field preferredA minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role or GMP environment.Exposure and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Familiarity and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Flexible, adaptable to changing priorities.Passionate about quality and customer service.Good communication skills both internally and externally.
