ABOUT THE ROLE We have an immediate start for multiple Casual Storeperson roles to join the team to ensure the smooth operation of our wool handling facility based at Ravenhall. Working at our purpose-built wool selling centre, we have multiple Storeperson roles available to join the team at Ravenhall. These roles will contribute to the smooth operations of our facility by efficiently operating the testing machines and ensuring the safe movement of wool bales throughout the wool-handling facility. You will be working in a new, state-of-the-art facility with all the support and technology at your fingertips to ensure your success.
RESPONSIBILITIES Supported by the Wool Operations Manager, you will:
Unloading and loading of trucks by forkliftMarking up of bales in preparation for testingEnsure bales are labelled, recorded and branded accurately to ensure minimal errorsHelp in the operation of the testing equipmentAdjust over and under-weight bales as requiredMarking up bales in preparation for shippingWork collaboratively with other membersAdditional wool store duties are part of this role to help deliver team outcomesABOUT YOU To thrive in this role, you will have:
A mindset and aptitude for technology and operational processesDrivers and forklift licenceExperience with RF scanning, barcoding, and data entryExperience loading and unloading trucks with a forkliftAn understanding of warehouse storage and operations with a knack for problem solvingThe ability to learn and adapt in a team environmentBe a true team player with a can-do attitudeA safe work ethic is criticalABOUT ELDERS Elders is proud to be the last Australian-listed major agribusiness.
