Role located in WA - KalgoorlieCurrently, there are around 4.3 million Australians with a disability. The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability.
A new role awaits National Delivery is responsible for engaging with participants and managing participant plans and supports. State/Territory-based business units manage the operating functions of the NDIS, ensuring accessible, nationally consistent participant experiences.
The APS3 Participant Support Officer is a team membership position responsible for setting priorities and managing workflow whilst producing work that is subject to regular monitoring and supported by Team Leaders.
This position will see you undertake procedural, administrative and operational tasks including some basic research and analysis activities.
Main elements of this role include: Providing Face to Face, Front of House/reception support for agency enquiries with strong participant engagement.Utilising various ICT/business systems to manage and action participant data and information.Undertaking outbound and inbound phone calls to manage appointment bookings.Actively participating in training and required meetings.Enough about us, let's talk about you This is a national team environment and working under guidance.
